Valay Desai, DDS
Fellow, International Congress Of Oral Implantologists
Dr. Valay Desai is a compassionate dental care provider with a strong focus on delivering comprehensive, family-oriented treatment. As a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, he remains committed to clinical excellence and continuous learning. Dr. Desai began his dental education at the Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Dental Sciences in India in 2011 and went on to complete the Advanced Standing Program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School in 2015.
He began practicing dentistry in 2008 and has been serving the Southern California community since 2020. Known for his commitment to ongoing education, Dr. Desai regularly participates in weekly training to stay current with the latest advancements in the field. His approach to dentistry is rooted in compassion, trust, and personalized care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Desai enjoys spending time with his wife Krishna, their daughter, and their husky, Blu. He’s an avid traveler who enjoys tennis, watching sports, and taking long walks and hikes with his dog.
Prashant Amin, DDS
Dr. Prashant Amin is a general and cosmetic dentist and co-founder of DNTL Studio. Known for his conservative approach, gentle technique, and friendly demeanor, he is passionate about providing thoughtful, patient-focused dental care. Dr. Amin’s goal is always to ensure the best possible treatment experience for everyone he sees.
Born in Chicago and raised in Dallas, Dr. Amin eventually returned to California, where he grew up. He earned his bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from the University of Southern California, followed by five years of dental training at Manipal University in India. He then completed his doctorate in dental surgery with high honors and a general dentistry residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
With over 18 years of experience, Dr. Amin is skilled in crowns, bridges, fillings, dental implants, bone grafting, and complex wisdom tooth removal. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, traveling, and volunteering for charity dental missions around the world. He’s also a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys, USC Trojans, and Dallas Mavericks.

Julie
Registered Dental Hygienist
Julie brings over 21 years of experience to the practice and is passionate about helping patients achieve bright, confident smiles. She graduated from the dental hygiene program at Pasadena Community College in 2000 and is known for her compassionate care and ability to help patients feel at ease. Julie truly loves her career and considers her patients an extension of her own family.
Married since 1998, she has one son currently attending college. Outside the office, she enjoys hiking, traveling, riding bikes at the beach, and spending quality time with her family.
Chelsea
Registered Dental Hygienist
Chelsea helps create a warm and welcoming environment for every patient. She earned her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from West Coast University in Irvine, CA, where she received the Colgate Student Total Achievement Recognition (STAR) Award and the Commitment to Ergonomics Award. Her favorite part of her work is helping patients feel refreshed and confident through gentle, thorough dental cleanings.
Raised in Upland, she continues to enjoy life in the community. In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys crafts and home renovation DIYs, especially making wreaths.
Mona
Registered Dental Hygienist
Mona graduated from the dental hygiene program at Pasadena City College in 2000 and has over two decades of experience in dentistry. Before becoming a hygienist, she spent 13 years as a chairside dental assistant and has also served as an educator. She continues to expand her knowledge in periodontics and implant dentistry through her membership with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Mona values the personal and professional relationships she builds with her patients and believes dentistry improves quality of life. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband and two daughters, and exploring good food and wine.

Registered Dental Assistant
Melissa has been a dental assistant for over a decade and takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable during their visits. She grew up near Upland and is a graduate of Chaffey High School. Patients appreciate her reassuring presence and dedication to their care.
Melissa has two children and enjoys cheering on her oldest at softball games while watching her youngest grow and learn new things.
